This is not going to be a post about fashion. It is about using a very organic and also cheap liquid. No more buying high prized detergents in neon bottles that are bad for mother nature and probably not good for your well being either (I remember cleaning my bathroom with this crazy pungent pink cleaning foam that made almost corroded my nasal mucous mebrane. anywho. Here are some cool ways on how to use VINEGAR instead of this other pricey stuff to get the same or even better cleaning results.
1. Wipe chopping boards with full strength white distilled vinegar to clean, remove stains and disinfect.
2. If you’re using a dishwasher and find your glasses come out looking a bit milky or cloudy pour around 50ml of white vinegar into the rinse aid dispenser. It might take a couple of goes to get them back to normal but it will work.
3. I soak my kitchen sponges in a small bowl of water with around 75ml of white vinegar added, over night. This keeps them fresh, prolongs their lifespan and removes any pongs.
Even though winter is over, I still find it very uncomfortable to walk around bare feet. My flat has floor boards and these old wooden boards are not very nice to walk on. I wear home socks instead of house shoes in the warmer months. They are thicker than normal socks and have little dots of rubber on underneath to keep you from slipping. I desperately need a new weekend bag. So, why is it so impossible to make a cool overnight bag? I mean, why not just enlarge one of the purses we already love? Why does everything have to have tons of flowers or worse,nylon rainbow leopard print? Ugh. I bought about ten different weekenders at Primark, none of them overcame friday. I am unsure how much I spend on cheap bags, but this time I am definitely going for a long life piece. This is luggage for men, but since guys walk around with men-bags over their shoulders and women are wearing trousers, I do not mind to carry around a bag designed for menly men. The granny style is quiet “in” since last year. I am not sure what made girls in their early twenties (or even younger) dye their hair grey and stel all of their grandmothers jumper to pull off this pensioner look. Being young, or at least still looking passably young, seems to be the key factor in pulling off the look, which openly flouts one of the last taboos of the fashion world. While most older women are still running for hair dye the second a gray hair sprouts, younger women are using the look to provide a heightened contrast to their youth and beauty. I went to a new hair dresser last week, asking for a nice swedish light blonde mane; walking out the barbershop with light grey hair and a crazy purple tinge witch made me look like the crazy Catlady who lived next door when I was thirteen. So old obviously is the new young.
There is one famous question among a million other questions a women wonders about while dating a guy. It´s “boxers or briefs”? Let´s be honest, a guy who looks like that Hugo Boss model above would stop every girls pondering about underwear immediately. I think everything is fine as long as a mans underwear is neat and clean and in good condition. Summer is near and flip flops are my chosen favorite footgear for walking the crowded parks and swimming-pool. I hate the boring plain ones but can´t afford the designers beach slides. Which is why I have to get back to my desk to create my own cool flip flops. I make little pom poms out of old plastic bags. I found a tutorial last year and got carried away. I found myself making about ten pairs of flip flops, which I gave as gifts to my friends later. This is what you will need:
